Dog Cabin Co-Lab

The Story
We began our Co-Lab with the KZN Blind Society in 2018 with a product designed to showcase their craftsmanship and skill. The concept of this product is to bring the beautiful craft of hand weaving together in a modern shape. This creates not only unique piece of furniture for your home but is sure to become the favourite place for your fur baby to curl up in.
Manufacturing
Once an order is place we will begin to build the steel frame which then gets a protective powder coat, matching the rattan colour. The frame is then sent to the KZN Blind Society where it takes their skilled artisans between 3 and 4 days to weave the frame. The Cabin is then fitted with a base and custom foam pillow.

The KwaZulu-Natal Blind & Deaf Society was established in 1936, their purpose, providing services and opportunities that ultimately improve the quality of life of blind, deaf and partially-sighted people.
